The Library Note
Created in 1984 by Elmer T. Lee as the world's first modern single barrel bourbon, it was named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton. Each individual bottle is hand-filled from a single barrel taken from the famous 'Warehouse H'—the only metal-clad warehouse at Buffalo Trace, where the temperature swings create a faster, more intense wood interaction.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Sipped neat or with a single drop of spring water. It is a spirit designed for slow appreciation, allowing the unique character of the individual barrel to reveal its own nuances over time.
Composition
EXPERT TECHNIQUE
A higher-rye mash bill (Mash Bill #2), aged in Warehouse H and bottled from individual barrels to ensure a unique, artisanal profile in every bottle.
