LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

A modern triumph. By leaning into specialty malts, Chattanooga has created a 'high malt' style that feels bridge between traditional bourbon and a robust single malt.

The Library Note

Founded in 2011, the Chattanooga Whiskey Company had to fight to change century-old Prohibition laws just to distill in their namesake city. Their persistence paid off, and '91' represents their first flagship expression from their experimental distillery—the first legal distillery in Chattanooga in over 100 years.

Full-bodied and malty with notes of caramel, honey, and black cherry, followed by a warm cereal sweetness.
