LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

The definition of smooth. While it may lack the complexity of a single malt, its creamy, approachable profile makes it the ultimate 'comfort' whisky.

The Library Note

Created in 1939 as a gift for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth during their royal tour of Canada. It was originally available only to dignitaries, but its reputation for smoothness spread, leading to its global release. It remains the definition of the Canadian blended style.
