LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

A masterpiece of artisanal production. It is smoky, yes, but the fruit and freshness make it incredibly drinkable. It is the benchmark for Espadín.

The Library Note

Produced in the valley village of San Balthazar Chichicapa by maestro mezcalero Faustino Garcia Vasquez. The agave is roasted for days and fermented naturally in open-air vats. It represents the pure, unadulterated taste of the Oaxacan terroir.

THE NOSE

THE PALATE
