LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

A transformative Canadian spirit. It proves that 'smooth' can also mean 'complex' and 'flavorful' when crafted with a winemaker's eye.

The Library Note

Created by John Hall, a winemaker turned distiller, Forty Creek treats whiskey like a fine wine. By aging rye, corn, and barley in different barrels to their peak before marrying them, Hall created a 'Barrel Select' that revolutionized the modern Canadian whiskey scene.
