LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

The redemption of the Cuervo name. It proves that the oldest distillery in Latin America has the stocks and the skill to produce a spirit that rivals the finest whiskies and brandies in the world.

The Library Note

Released to the public 1995 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary, this tequila uses only the innermost portion of the agave hearts ('esencia de agave'). Every year, the box is designed by a different Mexican artist, reinforcing its status as a collector's item.

Long, warm, and sophisticated.
