The Library Note
In the 17th century, ship captains discovered that casks of sherry carried as ballast to the East Indies improved dramatically in the heat and motion of the ship. Lustau recreates this by aging a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez in a special solera located in the warmest part of the bodega.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Slightly chilled or on the rocks with an orange peel. It is a stunning dessert wine.
