The Library Note
Produced by the Antinori family (winemakers since 1385). In 1971, they realized the rigid Chianti rules were holding back quality. They declassified their wine to 'Table Wine' status to make it better. The gamble paid off, creating a new category of elite Italian wines.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Decant for 1-2 hours. Serve at 18°C. Essential with wild boar ragu or a Bistecca alla Fiorentina.

Blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Aged in French and Hungarian oak barrels for 14-16 months.
