The Library Note
Produced in the highlands of Guatemala, Zacapa is aged in the 'House Above the Clouds' at 2,300 meters, where the cool air slows the aging process and allows for a more delicate development of flavor. Each bottle is adorned with a hand-woven 'petate' band, a Mayan tradition representing the unity of time and space.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Best enjoyed neat or with a single, large ice cube in a heavy crystal glass. Its complexity is so vast that mixers only serve to hide its brilliance.
Composition
EXPERT TECHNIQUE
Aged using a Solera system in casks that previously held American whiskey, delicate sherries, and Pedro Ximénez wines.
