LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

A love-it-or-hate-it masterpiece. It is one of the few spirits that truly conveys a sense of place. If you love the smell of the woods, this will be your favorite gin.

The Library Note

Distilled by St. George Spirits in Alameda, California, this gin was created to be an olfactory landscape painting. It is one of the most distinctive gins ever made, moving away from classic London Dry citrus/juniper profiles to embrace the raw, piney wilderness of the American West.

Sommelier's Perspective

THE NOSE

Like walking in a pine forest. Intense aromas of evergreen, damp earth, and sagebrush.

THE PALATE

Deeply savory and herbal. A powerful hit of pine and bay leaf is balanced by a subtle citrus undertone, but the forest floor dominates.

THE FINISH

Clean, cool, and incredibly piney.
