The Library Note
Since 1824, The Macallan has been a pioneer of the Speyside style. This expression is the result of marrying whiskies aged in sherry-seasoned American oak and sherry-seasoned European oak, creating a profile that is both creamy and spicy.
THE PERFECT SERVE
The 'Highland' Pour: Serve neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes to breathe, releasing the aromas of butterscotch and candied orange. Add exactly two drops of distilled water to 'break the surface tension' and unlock the spice.
