The Library Note
The 'Six Grapes' symbol was historically used by Graham's to mark barrels of the highest quality, destined for Vintage declaration. If the wine wasn't quite perfect for a vintage year, it became this reserve blend. It has been Winston Churchill's favorite port and remains a benchmark for rich, fruity sweetness.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Neat at slightly below room temperature. It is the classic partner for blue cheese (Stilton) or dark chocolate desserts.
Composition
EXPERT TECHNIQUE
A blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz, aged for 3-4 years in wood to soften tannins while retaining fruit intensity.
