The Library Note
Produced in Oita Prefecture, known for its clean air and water. 'Iichiko' means 'it is good' in the local dialect. Unlike sake (brewed), shochu is distilled. Iichiko uses 100% two-row barley and koji, resulting in a spirit that is incredibly smooth yet flavorful.
THE PERFECT SERVE
Mizu-wari (cut with water) or in a 'Chu-high' with soda and lemon. Also fantastic in a Martini variation.
