LIBRARIAN'S VERDICT

A revelation for vodka drinkers. It has the mixability of vodka but with a depth of flavor—melon, barely, and umami—that makes every drink better.

The Library Note

Produced in Oita Prefecture, known for its clean air and water. 'Iichiko' means 'it is good' in the local dialect. Unlike sake (brewed), shochu is distilled. Iichiko uses 100% two-row barley and koji, resulting in a spirit that is incredibly smooth yet flavorful.
